Shipping & Delivery FAQs

What do I do if my order was marked delivered on my tracking information but is not here?

Tracking information can take 24-48 hours to update after your order ships. If your tracking hasn't updated or seems stuck, don't worry—this is normal as carriers process shipments. This is especially common during the holidays when carriers skip scanning steps to move packages faster. If you have concerns after 48 hours, contact us at contact@wrappedstudios.com and we'll investigate.

What if my package gets lost or arrives damaged?

If your order is lost, damaged in transit, or hasn't arrived within the expected timeframe, contact us immediately at contact@wrappedstudios.com. For damaged items, we'll need photographs of both the paper and packaging. If your order is lost or damaged, we'll send a replacement at no cost to you.

When will I get my order?

We work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible, orders typically ship within 1-3 business days thanks to our automated production system. Once shipped, you'll receive a tracking e-mail with further information. Total delivery time (including processing and shipping) is usually 3-8 business days for domestic orders, though this varies by location. For the most accurate estimate, check the delivery dates provided on each product page which accounts for time of day.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and order total. For US orders, shipping is $9.99 for orders under $60 and FREE for orders $60 and over. For Canada, shipping is $19.99 for orders under $100 and $9.99 for orders $100+. You'll always see the exact shipping cost at checkout before you purchase.

Can you expedite shipping?

No. We don't currently offer expedited shipping options. However, our automated production system allows us to ship most orders within 1-3 business days, so you'll receive your wrapping paper quickly using our standard shipping rates.

Who delivers my paper?

We ship via USPS Ground Advantage in the United States and Asendia ISP for Canadian orders. Your wrapping paper arrives rolled in protective sleeves to prevent creasing and ensure it's in perfect condition when it reaches you. See pictures of our packaging on our About page. If you have issues with these carriers, contact us prior to ordering to see if we are able to change.

What packaging do you ship in?

We typically ship in triangle shaped cardboard boxes. We have found that this offers the most protection for shipping. On some orders we use square shaped boxes. Both boxes are around 31" long. Our wrapping paper arrives rolled in a protective plastic sleeve so it's in perfect condition when it reaches you. See pictures of our packaging on our About page.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to the United States and Canada only. International shipping is not available at this time.

Do you ship to PO boxes, APO or FPO addresses?

Yes. We ship via USPS Ground Advantage, so we can deliver to PO Boxes as well as APO and FPO military addresses. Delivery times may vary significantly for military destinations, but tracking is always provided once your order ships.

Product Detail FAQs

Do you sell the ribbon, charms, or gift tags shown in the photos?

No. Currently, we specialize exclusively in premium wrapping paper. We're exploring adding coordinating ribbons to our collection in the future—stay tuned!

Is the paper shipped rolled or folded?

Our wrapping paper ships rolled to prevent creasing and ensuring that it arrives in perfect condition. Each roll is protected by a plastic sleeve that prevents any moisture from getting on your paper if it is raining during delivery. In most cases we ship in a protective triangle box. This keeps your paper smooth and ready to wrap beautifully right out of the box. See pictures of our packaging on our About page.

Are there any seams or lines where pattern repeat on paper?

You'll never see seams in our wrapping paper. Unlike some competitors whose printers repeat patterns every 36 inches (creating visible seams), our state-of-the-art printers produce continuous lengths based on the exact size you order. This means seamless, uninterrupted patterns every time.

Will the ink smudge or rub off?

Under normal use, no. The ink is printed to hold up to handling during wrapping and gifting, so it should not smudge or rub off on hands or clothing. Like any printed paper product, heavy friction, moisture, or wet hands can cause transfer, so we recommend keeping the paper dry and avoiding rubbing the printed surface against rough or damp materials while wrapping.

Is there a grid on the back to help with measuring and cutting?

Yes, our wrapping paper features a 1-inch by 1-inch grid printed in very light gray on the back. The grid helps you measure and cut with precision for clean, straight lines every time. The light gray color ensures it's never visible through the paper, keeping your wrapped gifts looking flawless. Always check for this on premium gift wrap.

What size is the wrapping paper and how many gifts will it wrap?

Our wrapping paper is available in full edge to edge coverage at 29 inches wide and it is available as 6 ft, 12 ft, 30 ft, 45 ft lengths that you select at checkout. We also offer a single 20 x 29 inch sheet for you to wrap a small gift or try as a sample. Coverage depends on gift size, but as a general guide, 12 feet of paper typically wraps 3-5 medium-sized gifts or 2-3 large gifts. Each product page includes specific dimensions to help you estimate how much you'll need.

What is the paper weight of your wrapping paper?

Our paper is 95 GSM. Grams per meter, or GSM is the industry standard for paper quality. This measures how heavy the paper is in grams per meter instead of how thick it is. Our matte paper is slightly heavier than our satin when measured side by side. Our Matte is 96.5 GSM and our Satin is 93.5 GSM. Together these average 95 GSM. Please see our blog post on paper quality to understand more about our high quality paper product.

What is the difference in Satin and Matte?

Satin has a soft sheen that catches light and makes colors look a bit richer and more vibrant, giving a polished premium look. Matte has little to no shine for a more muted sophisticated finish, with less glare under bright lights and typically a slightly easier surface for writing gift notes. Both are premium paper stocks with similar weight (matte is very lightly heavier), the main difference is the level of shine.

There can be a slight difference in how colors look. Matte has a softer, more dulled look with minimal shine, so colors can feel a touch flatter and more velvety. Satin has a subtle sheen that reflects a bit of light, which can make colors appear slightly richer and higher contrast. The design and inks are the same on both, it’s just the way the finish reflects light.

Can I order samples before purchasing a full roll?

Yes, we offer a sample size sheet of paper. Don't worry it is rolled not folded, so you can wrap one gift with it. The sheet is 29 inches by 30 inches and is available for purchase by selecting the sample size when ordering. All of our designs come in this sample size.

Design & Customization FAQs

Why do the colors on my paper look different than the photographs?

Colors may appear different on screen versus in person due to RGB (screen) vs. CMYK (print) color modes. Your device's screen settings, contrast, and brightness can also affect how colors display. Additionally, our product photography is shot under professional lighting that may differ from your environment. If you're concerned about color accuracy, we're happy to help, just reach out at contact@wrappedstudios.com.

Do you offer custom colors?

Yes, please contact us at contact@wrappedstudios.com and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs. We try to offer as many colors as we can but if there is one you need, send us the hex code or a picture of what you are trying to match.

Do you offer custom designs?

Yes, please contact us at contact@wrappedstudios.com and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs. Any custom designs that we create, we may sell on Wrapped Studios. If you need a logo or other corporate asset printed, we will not resell those on our site.

Do you provide a proof before printing custom orders?

We are able to offer a mockup photograph of what your design will look like on paper. We recommend ordering a sample of the paper if you are not sure.

Can I personalize wrapping paper with names dates or a message?

Probably not. Generally we will not do customizations unless we are able to sell the design on Wrapped Studios. Please contact us at contact@wrappedstudios.com and we will consider your personalization request.

Is the art on your paper made with AI?

Our repeating patterns are built in studio using a mix of original artwork, custom refinements of licensed design elements, and AI assisted idea generation. We treat AI like any other studio tool: useful in the early stages, never the final design. Every pattern is curated, corrected, and production tested for repeat accuracy, color richness, and print sharpness before it ever becomes a listing. AI plays a role in our process just like other design software does.

Sustainability & Material FAQs

Is your wrapping paper recyclable and eco-friendly?

Yes. Our wrapping paper is recyclable through commonly available programs, and it is printed with 100 percent aqueous water based inks that are GREENGUARD certified and CA Prop 65 compliant. If you compost at home, plain paper is often compostable when it is clean and free of tape, ribbons, labels, foil, glitter, or plastic coatings.

Is the ink you use environmentally safe?

Yes. We use aqueous (water-based) inks that are low in volatile organic compounds and CA Prop-65 compliant, which means they meet strict safety standards without adding sulfur or harmful chemicals.

Does your wrapping paper contain plastics, foils, or glitter?

No. Our paper is free of plastic shrink wrap, metallic foil, and glitter. Those types of materials can prevent recyclability and contaminate recycling streams. By avoiding them, our paper is easier to recycle responsibly.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes. All packaging is designed to be reusable or recyclable. The triangular or square shipping boxes can be recycled with other cardboard. We don’t use plastic shrink wrap on gift wrap rolls, and the protective plastic sleeve that we use to keep you paper dry during shipping can be reused to store your gift wrap when not in use.

Is your paper compostable?

Yes. Because the paper itself is pure paper with water-based inks, it will break down naturally in a compost environment, but conditions must be right — home compost may take longer than industrial compost. Always remove tape and non-paper elements before composting.

Where are your products manufactured?

Our wrapping paper is designed in Texas and printed in Iowa. We're proud to support American manufacturing while delivering premium quality paper with fast turnaround times. Check out a picture of our print facility on our About page.

Special Use FAQs

Is your paper good for decoupage?

Matte is the most common choice for decoupage because it gives a clean no glare finish and tends to hide small bubbles or seams better. If you want shine, you can still decoupage with matte and then seal with a satin or gloss topcoat for the look you want.

Which paper finish is typically used for decoupage?

Matte is the most common choice for decoupage because it gives a clean no glare finish and tends to hide small bubbles or seams better. If you want shine, you can still decoupage with matte and then seal with a satin or gloss topcoat for the look you want.

Can I use your wrapping paper for crafts like scrapbooking or journaling book covers?

Yes. Our thick wrapping paper works beautifully for scrapbooking, junk journals, journaling inserts, and book covers. It’s thick enough to hold its shape and resist tearing, yet flexible enough to fold cleanly and adhere smoothly with glue sticks, tape runners, or double-sided tape. The high-resolution print quality makes it especially nice for layering, matting photos, covering notebooks, and adding decorative panels to planners or binders

Can I use your wrapping paper with Cricut cutting machines?

Yes. Our 95 gsm wrapping paper works well with Cricut and other home cutting machines when used with the correct settings. It’s thick enough to hold clean edges but flexible enough to feed smoothly. For best results, use a light or standard cardstock setting, a fine point blade, and a cutting mat with medium grip. Test a small scrap first to dial in pressure and speed, and avoid deep cuts that can tear the fibers. This makes it great for custom gift tags, paper decorations, card fronts, and other craft projects.

Can your wrapping paper be used for drawer liners?

Yes. Our 95 gsm wrapping paper is thick and durable enough to use as drawer liners, shelf liners, and cabinet liners. Cut to size, secure the edges with a small piece of removable tape or liner dots, and smooth flat. For best results, place the printed side up and keep it away from wet areas or direct heat. Satin finish works best for this. Several customer have done this and shown beautiful pictures of their finished projects.

Can I use your wrapping paper as envelope liners?

Yes. Our 95 gsm paper is thick enough to hold its shape and create a polished envelope liner, while still being flexible enough to fold cleanly. Simply trace the inside flap of your envelope, cut to size, and adhere with a thin strip of double-sided tape or glue stick. It works especially well for wedding invitations, holiday cards, and special event mail. Look at you being crafty!

Besides wrapping gifts, how else have customers used your paper?

Customers use our wrapping paper for a lot more than wrapping gifts because it is thick, smooth, and prints with crisp detail. A popular use is turning it into drawer liners, shelf liners, and cabinet liners since it lays flat, holds its shape, and instantly upgrades everyday storage. We have had customers share pictures of their projects. You can use it to line or wrap ornament display boxes, cover decorative storage boxes, and refresh plain organization bins with a clean, coordinated look.

For decorating, customers have framed small squares or panels as seasonal art, used it as cubicle wall decor and created simple framed pieces that can be swapped out throughout the year. It also works well as a decorative backing inside bookshelves, shadow boxes, and display frames where you want color or pattern without committing to paint or wallpaper.

For paper crafts, customers have used it for scrapbooking, junk journals, handmade bookmarks, and envelope liners for wedding invitations and holiday cards. Because the paper cuts cleanly and folds smoothly, it is also used for notebook covers and book covers, and for adding pattern to planners, binders, and craft storage.

Many customers keep an extra roll on hand specifically for DIY projects, seasonal decorating, and paper crafting because 95 gsm gives you a premium feel, better durability, and cleaner results than thin big box gift wrap.
